What’s behind the name, you ask? 💡

Hamilton Walker’s original location in Champaign, Illinois was once home to the Walker Opera House, a cornerstone of the local community.

After the Walker Opera House burned down in 1917, the Hamilton Hotel was built in its place. Our founders combined the names to create “Hamilton Walker’s” in an effort to honor the two historic landmarks.

We look forward to building a lasting legacy in our new neighborhood, Broad Ripple!

For the last 10 years we’ve been serving patrons in downtown Champaign, Illinois, establishing a reputation for thoughtfully sourced ingredients, impeccable service and timeless 1940’s Hollywood style.
