NAAIA is a professional insurance organization representing professionals of insurance and financial companies and agencies charged with the mission of approaching diversity through educational programs, career development forums, networking venues.
NAAIA National African American Insurance Association is preparing to celebrate 30 years in 2027 and continues to play a critical role in strengthening the insurance industry. As we reflect on this milestone, we’re reminded that we cannot move forward without understanding where we came from.
The organization created a documentary as one of the many ways to honor our history, our founders, and the trailblazers who paved the way. Their legacy fuels our purpose, shapes our progress, and guides the path ahead. We invite you to join us.

Your support makes it possible to provide scholarships for students pursuing degrees in insurance, business, and related fields. This year, we proudly awarded scholarships to five outstanding students who are preparing to lead the industry into the future. 🎓✨
We were inspired by our panel of industry professionals, who shared their journeys and encouraged scholars to pivot when necessary, face their fears, and lean on their networks of resources. We were also uplifted by one of our 2024 scholarship recipients, who reflected on his college journey and the opportunities that opened through networking and mentorship.
