We are located in Deaf Smith County, Texas. We are now breeding Silver Fox, Mini Rex,and Netherland Dwarf rabbits!

Silver Haven’s Fireball has worked hard in our rabbitry providing some beautiful babies. He’s now living with another breeder near us who is super excited and grateful to have him!

In more news: Nehemiah and I recently went through two litters we have growing out and we will likely have Silver Fox ready for new homes in the next few weeks. Priority will be given to those who have reached out in the past.

*Please note that we have two boys showing this breed so selections are limited but we are happy to share and help others! We have ethically, terminally culled those that are not show prospects and meeting SOP standards as close as possible. That reduces the number as well but hopefully gives you confidence in us.

Patrick was excited to help show his brother’s Netherland Dwarfs in his absence at the Roadrunner show this weekend. In Show A Tame Mees' “Luke Buckwalker” came out on top as BOB and got a second look during the BIS contest.

In Show C we had 3/6 of the Netherland Dwarfs competing for BOB and BOSB: a Himalayan, Black, and a Chestnut—Joseph’s new buck.

Nehemiah won BOB and BOSB with a pair of Black SF, Jesko's “Veronica” and Jesko's “Dylan”, in Show C as well as BOV Chocolate with Jesko's “Winchester”.

We also had some group wins with ND in Show B and our SF won BOB in all three weekend shows. Annie’s Mini Rex are too young to be competitive at this time.

This beautiful broken Chestnut junior doe is coming home with Joseph. I’m hoping we can breed her soon and get a better (and bigger) ND breeding program going.

Building your own cages is a great way to save money, custom design them, learn or work on skills, and probably spend time with family or friends along the way. We’ve built grow-out cages per Teal Stone’s directions. She knows what she is talking about.

I love the excitement in the “barn” when we feed hay! The sounds of them nibbling and the excited hops are precious. Cheese the Mini Rex is grateful for his morning snack.

Silver Fox have graduated! Read the link post. I'm so proud that our little rabbitry was a very small part in this success.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL...this time! (iykyk!)

Big news, Silver Fox breeders! The Silver Fox have officially been removed from the rare breed list in ARBA’s just-released update. This marks a huge milestone in conservation and growth for our breed. The Silver Fox were the first breed ever to graduate from The Livestock Conservancy’s list — we literally helped write the rules that made it possible. This is a true success story, and we couldn’t be prouder. Check out ARBA’s official post for the full announcement — and let’s celebrate this incredible achievement together. This success is the result of every breeder’s dedication, collaboration, and hard work. Together, we’ve proven what’s possible when a community unites behind a purpose.

Congratulations to everyone that has contributed to this historical achievement!

STAY FOXY!

The entire year(s) worth of hard work comes to an apex at the HLSA Stock Show every January. This is the “main event”! The kids are getting far enough along in their own breeding programs, because of the help of mentors, that they are starting to see consistent wins with their own breedings.
