Iโ€™ve been a little nervous to post this, but Iโ€™m doing it anyway. ๐Ÿ˜…

As a Realtor, short-term rental host, wife, mom, and full-time keeper-upper of approximately 87 moving parts, Iโ€™ve learned something the hard way:

A business cannot live forever in DMs, sticky notes, screenshots, unread emails, notebooks, and โ€œIโ€™ll follow up later.โ€

Because letโ€™s be honestโ€ฆ โ€œlaterโ€ is where good leads sometimes go to disappear. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Letโ€™s talk about the interest rate conversation, because whewโ€ฆ she has been stressing buyers OUT. ๐Ÿ˜…

I get it. Rates matter. Your payment matters. Your budget matters.

But sometimes buyers get so focused on the rate that they forget to look at the full picture: the home, the price, the payment, the location, the long-term goal, and whether refinancing could make sense later.

That is where โ€œdate the rate, marry the homeโ€ comes in.

No, that does not mean ignore the rate. We are not buying houses with hopes, dreams, and vibes only. It means making a smart decision based on your numbers today while understanding that your loan may be something you can revisit in the future.
