Coming this Thursday to our weekly free live music series: Tim Brickley is an Emmy Award-winning singer/songwriter/producer who writes songs with David Rheins, leads The Bleeding Hearts, and runs Hit City Recording and Different Beat Records. He hosts the Troubadour Night original music showcase every Monday night at the English.

Tonight at our Different Beat Records/Hit City Recording complex. We have seen the future of rock and roll and they are all playing at our place tonight, 7pm, all-ages.....

Hey folks, we at Different Beat Records are helping the indispensable Kan-Kan Cinema & Bar program their new Thursday night music series, kind-of a "Troubadour Thursday" thing where listeners and original music artists can connect in a creatively-nurturing and absolutely lovely space. Kicking things off with wonderful kaylaandthemachine tomorrow night, 7-9pm. (I got a gig, so please head on down for me - and I'm playing there myself next Thursday, then Joshua Powell on June 11!)

Coming to this Thursday's live music is Kaylaandthemachine!

Kaylaandthemachine is the solo project of Kayla Weddington, entirely inspired by great romantics and nature. She plays music across genres using flute, guitar, keys, and voice. The music is free to enjoy, but you can also buy a drink or a slice of pizza from while you're here!

Hey folks, re tonight's Different Beat "Troubadour Night" at the English.....

Hey guys - ok, the English is down both bartenders tonight SOOOO.....rather than cancel we're moving outside onto the patio and y'all gonna have to schlep your own drinks from the inside bar. But it will be worth it - fun night with three really cool folks who I am so lucky to have crossed paths with in this crazy dream. Music at 7pm!
