The IN-DEC Early Childhood Champion Award is presented by the Indiana Division for Early Childhood (IN-DEC). It recognizes exceptional professionals and advocates in the Early Intervention (EI) and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) fields who consistently go above and beyond to support young children with disabilities and their families. This years award goes to our very on SLP Lynn Myers.
Congratulations Lynn! A well deserved award. We at the Early Learning Center love you and are very grateful for you!

Washington Township Schools

Yesterday, a group of MSDWT leaders completed a build through Habitat for Humanity and Women Build. It was a wonderful day of helping others, learning and growing, and giving back!

A BIG shout out to Jill Kropa, Nora Elementary Assistant Principal, for leading the group!

The Early Learning Center is lucky to have someone like Maddie Markland in our building not only helping our students and staff but also our families !we love you Ms Maddie!!!

This morning was a great day to celebrate the work we’ve done as a Pyramid Model pilot site for the Indiana Department of Education. And boy, did we get to celebrate!

Ms. Dwi was recognized as the Practitioner of the Year!

Amanda is the Co-Implementation Coach of the Year.

Kristin received the Pyramid Model Champion Award.

These awards represent hours of work done by ALL members of the staff at the Early Learning Center! Congrats to everyone!

We appreciate the men and women in uniform who protect our country. Today, we pay tribute to those who gave their lives.

What a day at the W Awards for Washington Township Schools. The ELC was very well represented with awards going to Dwi Lestari for Classified Employee of the Year, April Oldham for Teacher of the Year, Meg Nation with winning the Phil Smith Above and Beyond Award and honoring our very own Teacher of the Year April Oldham for her retirement after 47 remarkable years in Washington Township as an educator. Talk about growing Panthers! Ms April also attended Washington Township Schools for 12 years before coming back and dedicating her life to our students in this district.

Early Learning Center IS SO EXCITED TO SEE WHO OUR BIG WINNERS ARE!!!!

May has been an amazing month! We celebrated our fantastic teachers and staff, got our lending library up and running, welcomed the class of 2026 to our building, and much more!
