Here’s a peek at one of the advent journals I designed for our ladies Christmas craft night. I used Christmas themed scrapbook paper to cover the pages and coordinating embellishments to decorate the pockets. The finishing touch was adding scripture cards or activity cards to each day making your Christmas countdown fun and meaningful. It’s hard not to love an advent calendar! 🎄❤️ 📖

Turn your baby shower decor up a notch with a stunning diaper rose centerpiece! This beautiful, practical decoration adds a unique touch to any shower combining elegance with functionality. Each “petal” can be unwrapped and used as a diaper, making it both decorative and useful! Use it as a centerpiece and then when the shower is over, send it home with the mom-to-be 🌸✨

Take the classic cake pop to the next level with these delicious cake pucks. They pop out of the mold with a perfect round shape and a beautiful shine. I added pink sugar bows to the top to add another layer of sweetness 🎀 🎂 ✨
Pink onesie plates, Oh Baby napkins, and a pink gingham runner set the stage for the rest of the shower snacks. A wonderful day celebrating the sweet mom-to-be!

Welcome to the party! A simple sign placed on an easel in my entry makes a big impact as guests arrive. 🎉
I purchased a 16” x 20” acrylic blank from Amazon and painted it with imperfect pink brushstrokes. I added a welcome message using a shimmery gold removable vinyl cut with my cricut. What I love about the removable vinyl is it will allow me to reuse the sign for other parties. Some greenery and pink tulle add the finishing touches. 🎀👶

Help me decide which theme to use for my next journal. Two totally different feels - one is a little more sophisticated and one’s a little more fun and playful. Let me know in the comments which of these paper combos is your favorite!
A) Wildflower
B) True Colors

Hello! Exciting news- follow me over on - for the latest on my new project. This post will explain how the idea was born.
There are a lot of new faces here so for those who don’t know me, let me introduce myself. I’m Jennifer, Jenny, Jen. I can usually tell how long I’ve known you by what name you call me. I was Jenny growing up until I decided that it didn’t sound sophisticated enough, at which point I switched to Jennifer. 🙄😂 A lot of people call me Jen just because it’s easier.
I’ve been married to my husband, Rick, for 31 years. We have been blessed with two amazing daughters (26 and 21) and one amazing son-in-law. I’m an accountant by trade, but after I had my two girls, I spent 14 years working at the school they attended. I loved this job and working with kids - especially 5th through 8th grade. I’m sort of a goofball so I can relate to them. 😂
When my girls graduated, I decided it was time to move on and pursue some of my passions. I love crafts of any type. I began tole painting and scrapbooking years ago. I love colors and patterns, so scrapbooking and mixing and matching the beautiful paper was inspiring to me.
Recently, I was inspired by a friend of my daughter’s who, on the exact anniversary of my dad‘s passing, asked my daughter how we were all doing. Who remembers things like that?! That made such an impression on me and it was a moment where I decided I wanted to do better. As a follower of Christ, it’s all about relationships and reflecting Jesus’s love to all we come in contact with.
So the idea hit! Combining my love of scrapbooking, paper crafts and color (of course it has to be cute!!!), I created a journal to record important events in my friend’s and family’s lives. There’s room in the journal to also keep track of some of their favorites - foods, restaurants, interests, etc - making gift giving a breeze. Also found in the journal is space to record ways that I can pray for them. Basically this journal is just a way to be more intentional in my relationships.
Follow along if you love paper crafting and your friends and family as much as I do!

Crazy for daisies! Even this front door hanger is blooming with daisies. I’m contemplating attaching some daisies to the bow. What do you think?
🌼
Should I add a few daisies to the bow?

Easter. Jesus. Hope. Risen. Blessed. Loved. Forgiven. Redeemed.
In my attempt to create Easter place settings that reflect the meaning of Easter while being somewhat stylish and trendy, I embellished disposable cups with these words.
A bonus result is that each guest has a different word, so no need to write your name on your cup!

Crack open the creativity this Easter! At my Easter craft night event, we will be making these colorful acrylic tags that you can use as gift tags or they’d also make great drink markers!
Fill a bag with candy and tie on the tag- it makes a cute place card as well as a gift your guests can take home.

Plans are underway for my upcoming Easter place setting craft night! This is a first and I’m so excited. We will be decorating plastic cups, making Easter drink/favor tags, embellishing cutlery, making napkin rings, and more!
