Santa Mike

I am excited as I have officially now signed the contract for a new season at Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad as their Santa for 16 dates and 54 trips on their holiday train. This will be my 3rd season with them and each year, I have been blessed with more dates. This year there were just 3 dates on their calendar I could not fill due to previous repeat jobs. I have been so fortunate with this opportunity and in just what will be my 6th full season..

This is a great article on the Indiana Women's Prison and their program to keep mothers and their babies together to give them both a chance at a future. I was blessed this last Christmas season to be able to visit the facility as Santa and give the moms and children there a little Christmas spirit. I have already signed up to return this next season and I am so thankful for the opportunity.

What an amazing season. So many people to thank. In fact too many because if I start to, I will miss someone so, I’ll just say thank you to everyone. If you used Santa Mike even for an hour this season, you are greatly appreciated.

Santa had to come back to Central Indiana today for a home visit so that he could warm up. Notice, that the North Pole doesn’t have a warning. Santa is used to the colder weather.
