We love how easy it is for our patients to get in touch with us.
No frustrating phone trees. No triage lines. No talking to staff you don’t know. No wondering if it’s worth the bother to try and get a message to your doctor when you may not even hear back until a couple days later.
You just text Dr. Moore or Dr. Holliday, let them know what’s going on, and we answer you OURSELVES! Often we can handle issues by text or phone.
Other times you need to be examined in person - often we can fit you in same day even if the problem didn’t occur until later in the day.
We can’t promise our patients NEVER need an emergency room visit. But we can promise it is MUCH less likely because you can get hold of us so quickly and easily.
Just today a patient texted at 2pm, had a visit in the parking lot, left with our clinic crutches to borrow for a couple days at 3:45pm, and was at the X-ray facility for an image by 4pm.

One of our favorite, former medical assistants stopped by our office yesterday. 🥰
We worked with her several years ago in our previous practice, and she knew about our idea to open a direct primary care practice when it was just a seedling of an idea.
She no longer lives in Indy, and we felt honored that she would spend a small part of her trip visiting our current direct primary care practice.

One of our favorite patients raises chickens and turkeys for their eggs. This week we were both gifted with a mix of chicken and turkey eggs.
We think the large, speckled ones to the right are the turkey eggs.
Anyone out there ever try a turkey egg?

FDA Recall of Certain Formulas — Indy Direct Docs The FDA is investigating 4 cases of infant sepsis due to either Salmonella or Cronobacter sakazakii. The source of the infections has been traced back to a plant in Sturgis, Michigan that produces the following powder formulas: Similac, Alimentum, and EleCare.

We love our landlord!!
He came in early today to shovel our sidewalk and parking lot for our patients.
We are doing a mix of telehealth and in-person visits today for our patients. We are grateful for the flexibility that direct primary care offers to our patients on a snow day like today.

We love practicing in the direct primary care model. Even when our patients need to visit the emergency room or are admitted to the hospital, having direct access to a personal doctor has been a great benefit to them.
Do Indy Direct Docs See Patients in the Hospital? — Indy Direct Docs As direct primary care physicians, we take pride in having a deeper level of involvement in our patients’ care needs.
