Love love love living in the country! Local is a way of life out here! Excited to try today's finds. Thank you Henderson Farms for all you do to provide meat, cheese, milk, butter, household items, etc that are all natural and small batch made with ingredients I can pronounce.

At Eremos Coffee picking up 5 pounds of fresh roasted Java whole bean. That'll last about 3-4 weeks. So grateful for local businesses!!

Went to Millie McGee's Gosport Diner for dinner, catfish on Friday night. It's a must go no matter what you have a hankering for. The food is great but the people.....top notch!! Love this family business!

A former Roux Croux employee has passed away unexpectedly and a fund has been set up for the family. Tyler was so fun to be around and a very caring young man. He leaves behind a young daughter and a plethora of people whom he greatly impacted.

What do you use to get pickles out of the jar?

CONSENSUS: forks and fingers, lots of fingers. Barbarians! Nobody said spoons, which I used for pickles today, it worked surprisingly well.

Went to the Morgan County Farmers Market this morning, what a blessing! We ordered our Thanksgiving turkey from AB3 Farm LLC and bought an awesome handmade bookmark from their entrepreneur son Dylon and it just so happens to have one of my favorite sayings on it. We got handmade meatballs from SommHerr's as well as a pot pie, looking forward to getting their deli. I had wonderful hot cider from Sara's Goodies and we had a raw conversation about the woes of restaurant depot, hahaha. Bought some honey tallow balm, hyaluronic acid serum for my aging face, and also some moisturizer for the dogs paws, all from Urban Earth Stuff.

I highly recommend you give these local mom n pops a try!

Small towns have such a charm, keep them small!!
