Last week, Jane Anderson, a Tandem employee, and her brother, Matt Anderson, joined Tandem Vice President Jeff Harris for a SourceAmerica Grassroots event on Capitol Hill. Jane helped educate legislators on the importance of jobs for individuals with disabilities as a part of the Federal AbilityOne program.

Joe McKinney, Tandem Director, represented Tandem at a fair this week for Indianapolis high schools, promoting resources for young people with disabilities, including employment opportunities.

Happy Halloween from the Tandem team! Our Indianapolis crew dressed up and celebrated together. Each department decorated, they hosted trick-or-treat, had games like co****le, a costume contest, and a pizza lunch. Shout out to Michelle and Tawanna for leading the planning. A few weeks ago, Tandem/AWRC Vice President, Jeff Harris, spent time in Washington, D.C., for the SourceAmerica Fly-In to help advocate for the SSI Penalty Elimination Act. This proposed bill increases resource limits used to determine eligibility for the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program. SSI is a federal assistance program that provides monthly cash payments to aged, blind, or disabled individuals with limited income and resources. Harris met with Senator Todd Young and his staff, as well as Senator Mike Braun's team to ask Indiana Senators to co-sponsor the bill. He advocated alongside industry colleagues from Goodwill Industries International and Ada S. McKinley Community Services.

Todd joined Tandem in 1996 as a training supervisor and quickly assumed the role of data specialist and facilitated database and document conversion while becoming well acquainted with the USPS rules and regulations. Now, Todd serves as site operations manager in Fort Wayne, IN.

Todd studied communications at Western Michigan University and holds a Mailpiece Design Professional certification with the USPS.

Outside of work, you can find Todd around town doing a solo acoustic act, singing classics from the ‘60s and ‘70s.

Andy joined the Tandem team in 1995 in our Fort Wayne location and helped launch the original brand. He later transitioned to Indianapolis where he serves as operations site manager overseeing all production operations. He has over 33 years of experience in the mail and print industry.
