The July Visa Bulletin is here and the EB-3 Other Worker line moved again! ๐บ๐ธ For All Chargeability nationalities, the final action date is now March 1, 2022. The Philippines stepped forward to December 2021. If your priority date falls before these cut-offs, you may now be eligible for visa issuance.
The Dates for Filing chart held steady at August 1, 2022 this month, so if you're in the U.S. waiting on adjustment of status continue to hold and watch for further movement in the next few bulletins.

The Visa Bulletin is out, and for EB-3 Other Workers, there is no forward movement this month. The Final Action Date remains at February 1, 2022.

A lot of people assume the EB-3 program is only for individuals applying from outside the country. That is not always the case.
In some situations, individuals who are currently in the U.S. on a valid non-immigrant visa such as F-1, H-1B, or similar categories and have maintained their legal status, may be eligible to pursue permanent residency through a process known as Adjustment of Status.
This means the immigration process can, in certain cases, be completed without leaving the United States. That said, eligibility depends on individual circumstances, timing, and visa history.
Every case is different.
What stays the same regardless:

The EB-3 program is employer-sponsored, a U.S. employer files on your behalf

The process takes time typically 2 to 4 years

It leads to permanent residency, not just temporary work authorization

17 candidates have now received their I-140 approvals and moved on to Step 3 of the EB-3 process: waiting for visa availability and getting closer to their green card.
These cases were sponsored by one of our employer partners in the food & beverage industry.
The road was not simple. There were labor certification audits, multiple USCIS document requests, and challenges that could have slowed everything down.
