‘Tis the season! We love watermelon in our household. Dickie is no different. If you were ever wondering why his hashtag name we choose is 🍉 this is a perfect post to explain. While picking middle names we asked the big brothers what they wanted. The biggest brother, Huxley, said Dixon Watermelon. Every time we ask from that point on he gave the same answer. It ended up being James after Pepaw but it will forever be 🍉 on IG.

There is a lady with DS named Tamara that bags our groceries at the neighborhood Kroger. She always asks if “he has DS” talking about 🍉 and then follows it with “I do too” with a smile. She always give him stickers and some loving. She has been working there since 1996. They are lucky to have her like we are for having our littles with DS.
