We are thrilled to be a recipient of funding from AARP. Our quick action project is using paint for traffic calming and pedestrian safety.

Wanted – Board Secretary
Duties Include:
Recording minutes for monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of each month January through November 7:30pm
Email minutes to other Board members within a week of the meeting.
Make edits as needed before the next month’s meeting.
Provide communications for notices and preserve RRCA contacts.

Benefits Include:
Voting Board Member of the Rocky Ripple Community Association.
Help direct the future of our playgrounds, green spaces and Town events.
Camaraderie of fellow volunteers working towards civic unity and the welfare of all residents.

We Want You if you are able and willing!
Attend the April 21st RRCA meeting to declare candidacy.

Elections for Secretary will take place during our annual Business Meeting May 19.

From our Bylaws
7.5 The secretary shall have the responsibility for providing that all notices required
by these bylaws be issued, and shall provide that all minutes of all meetings of the
Board of Directors and membership be adequately kept. He or she shall have
responsibility for all corporate books, records and papers, and any and all written
contracts of the corporation. He or she shall perform all other duties as are
incident to this office.

Regarding Voting:
8.1 Election for the Board of Directors shall be held at the annual membership
meeting. Voting shall be by secret ballot, unless the member is attending virtually
or remotely, then their vote will not be anonymous. Each member in attendance
shall have one vote for each of the vacant seats to be filled. Election shall be by
simple majority.
8.2 Directors shall serve a term of three (3) years,

Noon this Friday we'll be testing the air horn at Town Hall. Come on by for some safety excitement!!
If you hear this horn outside of testing it means the levy has broken. In that case evacuate immediately and honk your horn on the way out to spread the alarm.

We are urgently seeking a festival lover who is good with social media to take over our Festival messaging. PLEASE DM Rachel Wuthrich if you're able to do this. You don't need to attend meetings 👍
We also have a Secretary position up for election in May which could use a tech savvy Ripple lover. ❤️
