What began as a race to honor Jasper Caseโ€”known as the Pink Panther behind the No. 3โ€”became something so much bigger. ๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’จ Pink Panther - Jasper Case #3

We were incredibly honored to be selected as the beneficiary of the 2026 Jasper Case Memorial Race. Through sponsorships, merchandise purchases, donations, and attendance, those who organized and supported the event raised an incredible $5,719 for the CheckIt4Andretti Foundationโ€”enough to provide 5 colonoscopies for people in need.

After his cancer diagnosis, Jasper became passionate about encouraging others to get screened and understand that early detection can save lives. We are grateful to help carry that message forward and honored that his legacy will continue by helping others access potentially life-saving screenings.

Our heartfelt thanks go to every organizer, sponsor, racer, fan, volunteer, friend, family member, and supporter who made the event possible. You transformed a day of remembrance into an opportunity to make a lasting difference. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“ˆ The US Preventative Services Task Force (USPSTF), the federal agency that determines screening guidelines for disease in the US, recommends that healthy adults aged 45-70 get a screening test for colorectal cancer if they have a life expectancy of at least 10 years. Despite the drop in screening age recommendation, the rate of colon cancer is still growing at about 2-3% per year in people under the age of 50.

๐Ÿฅผ Studies show that about 1 in 3 people who are eligible for screening, are not getting it done. This deficiency could be due to fear of the bowel prep for colonoscopy, lack of insurance coverage or simply not being educated about the recommendation.

In order to capture a bigger percentage of people at screening age, the American Cancer Society (ACS) updated its guidelines for colorectal cancer screening last month, May 2026. In addition to the previously approved tests for screening, the ACS has added new testing options to the arsenal doctors can use to improve colon cancer detection.

Our mission is to save lives by increasing awareness of the importance of screenings for the prevention and early detection of colorectal cancer, while providing funding for high-risk, low-income patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or too young for insurance to cover the cost of screening.
