Today marks the end of 2025, and I want to thank all the Indianapolis TenPoint Coalition clergy, OGs, patrol teams, volunteers, churches, and board members for their dedication and faithful service. Their efforts to reduce urban youth violence among Black males ages 12-24 in 11 hotspot areas, through patrols and programs that address root causes, have saved lives and guided many young men toward better paths. I appreciate your care for our youth and the sacrifices you make to create a brighter future for them. Thank you, Indianapolis TenPoint Coalition, for 26 years of active involvement in hotspot areas across Indianapolis, helping to decrease urban youth violence.

The Indianapolis TenPoint Coalition will begin its 27th year as an anti-violence, faith-based organization on January 1, 2026. Our mission is to reduce the incidence of urban youth criminal homicides among young men of color ages 12-24. Since 1999, our hotspot patrol areas have gone an entire year without a youth homicide (ages 12-24) among Black males 80 times. Additionally, there have been 57 instances where there were no criminal homicides of any age in those same hotspot patrol areas. The success has been based on collaborative partnerships with IMPD and community stakeholders.

The Indianapolis TenPoint Coalition update for the first 204 of 2025, highlighting its efforts to help reduce urban youth violence among young men of color aged 12 to 24 in 11 hotspot patrol areas. We aim to keep these young men alive and out of prison and help put them on a pathway to success. Since 1999, in partnership with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and the community, there have been 80 occasions when our patrol areas have gone an entire year without a youth murder. 57 times, no one has been killed in those same patrol areas.👏👏👍
