Community Learning Programs IUPUI Herron School of Art and Design's Community Learning Programs help shape the imaginations and develop the skills of central Indiana's aspiring artists, from young children to lifelong learners.

The campaign started strong with a generous gift from Daniel A. Cunningham in honor of his spouse and Herron alumnus Catherine “Kathy” Cunningham (B.A.E. ’84), and now we’re closing in on our target! If we can reach 75% of our goal before midnight today, the Community Learning Programs fund will receive an additional $500 from the IU Foundation!

Community Learning Programs (CLPs) at the Herron School of Art + Design stimulate imaginations and develop skills in central Indiana's aspiring artists, from young children to lifelong learners. Our programming includes Youth Art Camps, Saturday School, Pre-College Workshops and Community Art Nights at the 10 East Arts Hub. Taught by practicing artists and art educators, Herron’s CLPs facilitate authentic art-making experiences in a welcoming, supportive environment that fosters creativity and self-expression.
