If your inbox has 8,000 unread emails, we’re not judging.

But here’s a 5-minute fix:

✔ Use “Rules” in Outlook or Gmail (Automatically sort newsletters into folders.)

✔ Use “Unsubscribe” (yes, it works).

✔ Block 2 daily email check times instead of reacting constantly.

Reactive IT fixes problems after they hurt you. Proactive IT prevents them before they interrupt your business.

Proactive IT means:
Regular system reviews
Security planning
Upgraded roadmaps
Monitoring trends early

👉 DM “PROACTIVE” for a third-party review of your systems (especially IF your current IT company is NOT doing these things.)

How many browser tabs do you have open right now?

If it’s more than 15, let’s change that.

Here’s a simple fix:

✔ Use Tab Groups (Chrome & Edge) Right-click a tab → “Add tab to new group.” You can label them: “Accounting,” “Marketing,” “HR,” etc.

✔ Use OneTab (Free Extension) It collapses all open tabs into one clean list you can restore later.

✔ Bookmark folders for repeat workflows.
Your brain shouldn’t be your tab management system.

Happy National Library Outreach Day! 🚌📚

Today, April 22nd, we celebrate the library professionals who bring the library to their communities — from bookmobile stops at schools to pop-ups at community events and doorstep delivery for homebound patrons.

Libraries have always met people where they are. From horse-drawn wagons in Appalachian hollows to wi-fi-equipped mobile units rolling through neighborhoods today — that spirit hasn't changed a bit.

We wrote about this incredible journey on our blog 👇

To every outreach librarian making it happen — thank you. 🙌

Happy National Library Workers Day! 📚✨

April 21st, we're taking a moment to celebrate the incredible people who make libraries work — the librarians, support staff, and every team member behind the scenes who keeps our communities connected, informed, and served.

Libraries don't run on books alone. They run on people. And today, we honor yours.

Drop a shout-out to your favorite library worker in the comments! 👇

✔ Updates install quietly
✔ Issues are handled early

There are two types of passwords:
FortKnox!93
12345678

And somehow 12345678 is still winning.

We get it. You want something easy to remember. Unfortunately, your easy is also easy for bots, scripts and hackers.

Weak passwords aren’t clever. They’re predictable.

If your network password hasn’t changed in years, or it’s printed on a sticky note somewhere, it’s time for a refresh.

If your calendar controls you … flip it.

Try this:
✔ Block “Focus Time” daily ✔ Add travel buffers between meetings ✔ Change default meeting lengths to 25 or 50 minutes (not 30/60)

These small tweaks deliver a massive productivity boost.

IT that gets attention only when something breaks, isn’t strategy. It’s survival mode.

Here are 5 warning signs your technology might be fragile:
- You hear from IT only when there’s a problem
- Passwords are shared in emails
- No one knows when equipment should be replaced
- Backups haven’t been tested
- Employees complain about slow systems

Technology should reduce stress, not create it.

If even two of these feel familiar, it may be time for a reset!
