Our Story
The Ph.D. in Media and Communication Studies is designed to prepare professionals with a thorough grounding in the theoretical, cultural, and educational foundations of the discipline, alongside hands- on experience in media production and design across a variety of platforms.
This will make graduates of our program ideally qualified for careers in higher education (university, college, and community college), media, government, business, and industry.
With technologies continuously changing, there is much we need to do to understand their impact and effectiveness. Such an understanding can only emerge in the context of a comprehensive Ph.D. program.
