We are pleased to announce the new Executive Director of Family Promise, Jillian Jones.
Jillian grew up in Indiana County, going to Blairsville High School before obtaining her Bachelor degree at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe.
She first learned about Family Promise as a teenager through her church's work with Family Promise. Later, she served as the shelter aide at Family Promise.
After graduating, she married her husband Justin. In her free time, Jillian enjoys going for runs with her son, collaborative story telling with friends and anything to do with plants.
Jillian earned her Masters of Divinity at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Her faith is defined by the commandments to love God and love neighbor and has led her to have a special interest in the homelessness, disability, poverty and children in foster care. She has experience working with the Deaf community through being a Deaf Ministry Intern at Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community as well as those who struggle with their mental health being a Blended Case Manager at the Community Guidance Center helping link people to the resources they need to not just survive but thrive.
Jillian is ready to accept the challenge of this role and is eager to visit your church, business and organization to learn how we can partner with you to support family stabilization in Indiana County.
Please join me in welcoming Jillian! She will be making her way into the community so we know everyone will be seeing the impact of our Director in the near future.

Every family deserves a safe place to sleep, food on the table, and hope for a better tomorrow. Sadly, many families in our community are facing homelessness while trying to balance impossible choices such as rent or groceries, utilities or transportation, childcare or medical bills.
At Family Promise, we believe prevention matters. A small act of kindness can create life changing impact for a family in crisis. โค๏ธ
