Bosley 🐾

He had one goal for the day:
Be involved.

What was happening? Who was over there? Could he come too? Was there something interesting he should know about?

Bosley wanted to be part of it all.

He bounced from one thing to the next with that classic pug enthusiasm, always ready to investigate whatever was going on around him. If there was action, Bosley was interested.

Between the curly tail, happy grin, and endless curiosity, he brought plenty of personality to Homer for Hounds.

🌈 Introducing Comfort Circle 🌈

This is something I've been quietly working on for a while, and I'm excited to finally share it with you.

Comfort Circle is a monthly distance Reiki session for pets, created as a way to offer a little extra care and support to the animals who share our lives.

But there's another piece that makes this especially meaningful to me:

🌈 100% of Comfort Circle proceeds will go directly to The Rainbow Fund, a Timeless Tails initiative that helps qualifying families access Celebration of Life photography sessions when financial hardship would otherwise make them unavailable.

By participating, you're not only supporting your own pet—you're helping another family preserve memories with theirs.

Once each month, I'll gather the pets registered for Comfort Circle and hold a shared distance Reiki session for them. There is nothing you need to do and nowhere you need to be. Your pet simply receives the session from the comfort of home.

If you're new to Reiki, it's a gentle energy-based practice that many people use to support relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. While Reiki is often offered in person, distance Reiki is also a standard part of my training, allowing sessions to be shared remotely.

Whether your companion is young or old, energetic or easygoing, all pets are welcome in the circle.

🌿 Our first Comfort Circle will take place Friday, June 26.

As we head into the weekend, let's take a moment to intentionally offer our pets a little extra love and support.

Beginning in July, Comfort Circle will be held on the last Sunday of each month.

🐾 Brûlée 🐾

If you judged Brûlée by her size, you'd assume she was going to be quiet and reserved.

You would be wrong. 😆

Brûlée showed up ready to go. She was full of energy, curious about everything, and determined not to miss a single thing happening around her.

Ike 🐾

Not every dog arrives ready to be the center of attention—and that's okay.

Ike took a little time to decide whether this whole photoshoot thing was actually worth his energy. He spent the first few minutes carefully sizing me up, making sure I passed whatever secret test he had in mind. 👀

But once he settled in, his sweet personality started to shine through. Beneath that cautious exterior was a gentle little guy who was just taking the world at his own pace.

Those thoughtful, curious expressions are some of my favorite kind to photograph.

🐾Lily 🐾

If sweetness was a competition, Lily would have taken home first place. 💛

This adorable beagle stopped by Homer for Hounds with her signature floppy ears, soulful eyes, and a nose that was clearly on a mission to investigate every interesting scent in the room. 🐶👃

Lily was equal parts curious, cuddly, and charming—basically everything we love about beagles wrapped up in one very cute package.

Can we also talk about that face? Because I'm pretty sure she knows exactly how adorable she is. 😍
