Barrel vs Drum
According to the eia a barrel may be referred to as a drum, however a drum holds 55 US gallons and a barrel holds 42 US gallons.
A 42 US gallon barrel of crude oil yields about 45 US gallons of products because of refinery processing gain.
Gasoline, distillates, jet fuel, other products, hydrocarbon gas and residual fuel are all products from the refined 45 US gallon barrel.
