Congrats Grant on completing your student teaching this semester. Way to contribute to the fundraising effort!

IJHS Builders Club had another successful fundraiser for Four Diamonds, the organization that pays for research and treatment for childhood cancers at Penn State Children's Hospital. Through teacher jeans days, and "Stick It to Cancer", Builders Club raised another $354, taking them OVER their $3000 goal for the year!

Pictured are two student teachers that volunteered as tributes to be taped to the wall for charity. Miss Bodnar (Mrs. Beer's student teacher) and Mr. Baker (Ms. Adams' student teacher) stuck it to cancer on their last day at the Junior High! Thank you to everyone involved this year.

It is with a heavy heart we pass on the news of the passing of Connie Sutton.

Connie was a dedicated faculty member in our department and gave so much to our students. She also gave countless planetarium shows for local groups and classes. She made such an impact on our department and will be missed. Our heart goes out to all of her friends and family.

Connie J. (Evans) Sutton Connie J. (Evans) Sutton, 80, of Indiana, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026. She was born in Portage on March 23, 1945, to H. Leroy and Virginia Faye (Bowser)

Congrats to our PASSHE colleague on this well deserved award. Thanks for all you have done for GSA and the study of geology here in Pennsylvania.
