On Monday, our Meals 2 You clients received a special treat with their lunch—a delicious and refreshing açaí bowl! 🍓🫐

Our Meals 2 You program provides daily lunches, for only $5.00 a meal, to elderly, disabled, and homebound individuals throughout our community, delivered by our amazing volunteers. We love finding little ways to brighten their day, and these colorful açaí bowls were a fun and nutritious addition to Monday’s meal.

A big thank you to our dedicated volunteers who not only deliver meals but also provide a friendly smile and connection to those who may be isolated at home. Together, we’re nourishing both body and spirit, one meal at a time. ❤️

Every Tuesday from 11am-1pm we have a harvest table. Offering free produce as well as a fun recipe to try! 💚

A BIG thank you to Ryan Smith and Raven for donating 29 lbs. of butter. Ryan is passionate about collaborating with others in the community to provide nutritious items for our pantry. We are so grateful for their help. Without donations from generous donors, we would not be able to give people a hand up when needed.

Join us on Tuesday, June 16, from 5:00 PM–7:00 PM for a FREE hands-on class all about making homemade pesto!

During this fun and interactive session, you'll learn how to create fresh, pesto from scratch, explore ingredient alternatives, and discover creative ways to incorporate pesto into everyday meals. The goal is that you will leave with plenty of ideas and inspiration.

Everyone who attends will receive a manual food processor, 3 glass Pyrex storage containers, and a silicone spatula set along with a basil plant for future Pesto making! Space is limited to 25 attendees, so be sure to sign up early. Comment below to be added to the sign up sheet with your name and if you plan to bring a friend. Please only sign up if you can for sure make it as space is limited.

The past couple weeks Korey has been helping us out at the center. He shows up every time with a big smile and a can do attitude. Last week he was off from his usual day in due to his graduation. Congratulations on graduating, Korey! This is a huge accomplishment and we couldn’t be more proud. Thank you for choosing to volunteer at our center. I promise I won’t make you scoop any more grape jelly 🍇

We had extra pinecones from this past Saturday, so we set up at the center today and let everyone make a homemade bird treat to take home. Thank you Connie for helping people make them!
