Thank you, The Indiana Gazette, for coming out to see our tour and talk with our potters. Sharing our work and creating connections has been a fulfilling and invigorating experience over the years. One we look forward to again and again. Each of us are eager to get back in our studios to see what new creations might make their way onto our tables for next year! Save the dates - the Indiana County Potters Tour is always the third weekend in October.

Indiana County Potters Tour sculpts out time in the weekend to spread the love of pottery From birds to bowls, pots to planters, and everything in between, there is a little something for everyone in the world of sculpture.

Nancy Smeltzer is the owner of Little Mahoning Creek Pottery in the popular, country village of Smicksburg, PA. Her studio is functionally rustic and filled with her thrown pieces, bird figures, and reminders of nature. Fascinated by the way fire, ash and salt embellish her work, she likes to envision her pieces on the table or in the hand, celebrating the everyday ritual of eating and drinking. She'll host several guests and have live demos during this year's Indiana County Potters Tour 2025 (Pennsylvania).
