Theta Chi - Epsilon Eta Chapter

The weather was perfect for our first highway cleanup of the season! We're excited to continue to do our part as members of the IUP community as the weather improves.

A few of our brothers had the chance to attend the North East Greek Leaders Association meeting last week in Baltimore. Big thank you to everyone who had a hand in allowing us to participate in this fantastic learning experience!

Several of our officers were able to attend the annual conference held by this year! We cannot thank you enough for this absolutely incredible learning experience, and are excited to go into the new year with all that we learned.

The winter break is coming to a close, but our progress will continue. Over the past few weeks renovations have been completed around the house. Our Brothers have been tirelessly working, to ensure that these projects are finished before starting the spring semester. In addition, this week our new Executive Board will be traveling to St. Louis, for training in their respective position(s). We wish them safe travels and know they will come back with valuable information.

We send a huge congratulations to our Alumnus Brother Cory Clinger and his wife Jessica on their recent marriage. We wish them all of the best throughout their lives. Cory represents what it means to be a truly Resolute Man.

A few weeks ago we had the chance of awarding the Theta Chi Fraternity Hero’s Memorial Scholarship to CDT Jackson Heasely. In addition, we hosted our Annual Red Carnation celebration in honor of the Alumnus and Undergraduate Brothers, who put in the effort necessary to achieve the goals we set in place. During that time, we unveiled our Eternal plaque so the legacy of our fallen Brothers is honored forever and never forgotten. This is a post of appreciation, for the opportunity of getting together with our Brothers once again.

A few of our alumni and undergraduate brothers had the pleasure of attending Justify Theta Chi this weekend in Lexington Kentucky! Thank you to Theta Chi Fraternity for hosting and allowing us to be a part of this great experience.

Today is a day of mourning over the loss of our Alumni Brother, Michael Hanni. He was a founding father of our recharter in 2016 and continued his heavy involvement in our chapter ever since. His legacy will never be forgotten. The Brothers at Epsilon Eta chapter celebrate the life of a man who contributed his time, effort, and compassion, giving us the chance to do the same. As we sit, deeply saddened by the news brought to our attention today, we recognize and remember the positive impact Michael's life had on more people than he ever realized. Rest easy Brother, you will be dearly missed.

Only five years have passed since we rechartered in 2016. We have bought and renovated a house in that time and there is much more we want to accomplish. Come join the legacy, rush Theta Chi.
