So after an inspection in good Ole McKeesport...I'm at a red light and the road literally blows up from a broken water line. I thought it was an earthquake. You could see the pavement flexing. This I have never experienced. I tried to get better pics but water was ripping and I thought we were all gonna drop in a sink hole. At least if I ended up in China I like the food! 🍜

So an agent told me the other day... The water is off at the meter in the house because there is a broken pipe above it. Of course I forgot this little tidbit of information and they failed to mention if you turn the water on, due to the broken pipe it will blast you directly in the face big time.

If only I could have got a video of this one!

I recently found a bunch of gas leaks in a house on a home inspection. The homeowner called the gas company they came and fixed 11 leaks. They told the homeowner something interesting to me. The Gas Company employee noticed there were many turkey vultures outside the house when he got there. He said the turkey vultures obviously are usually drawn to the smell of decaying or dead animals they also love the smell of gas leaks. Apparently the smells are somewhat alike to them. So if ever you see turkey vultures lingering around a home for no apparent reason there is a good probability there is a gas leak or an abundance of them. I walked out of the house looked across the street and this is what I see....

Ain't that the truth!
