Today's requests are for the 212 neighbors with diabetic or heart-healthy diets who receive monthly food delivery from our Cupboard Ally volunteers.

Our biggest dietary needs right now are: no salt added green beans, no salt added diced tomatoes, no sugar added pasta sauce and low sodium or unsalted canned soups.

Can you help? Our Wish List: https://a.co/6xFpukW

Many thanks to our recent Wish List heroes: Lisa, Ben, Doug & Kevin.

You can also always drop off nonperishables at our Indian Trail office using the boxes out front (116 Business Park Drive). For a full list of our drop off locations: FoodDrives.CommonHeart.org

Common Heart’s tagline is “a small revolution of kindness” and that is exactly what I saw in my driveway on Sunday. Issues that face our community like food insecurity and school funding should not be partisan. The current political landscape is terrifying but our community proved that caring about others doesn’t have to be a red or blue issue. I am incredibly proud that we collected 1,394 pounds of food for Common Heart to give to students. I am determined to continue using this campaign to serve our community 🩵🎀
