Bandit Adoption

Bandit is a 2 and half year old Belgian Malinois mix. He is the perfect combination of playful, goofy and loving. He absolutely loves other dogs of all sizes. He would be a great playmate for someone who already has a dog but looking to add another one for companionship. He loves being outside. He likes to explore the outdoors and sit and watch the birds and the squirrels or any other type of activity going on. He is good with kids and was raised with a small child. He does need some work on the leash. He just gets overly excited when you bring it out, knowing he's going to get to go somewhere. He does well in the car. He's just a little whiny with excitement at first but he loves to stick his head out of the window and feel the breeze.

Bandit just loves life. He is a very happy boy and loves to cuddle and be next to his person. He will follow you wherever you go and sit with you while you are gardening, working in the yard or just sitting and relaxing. When he's ready he'll just go off on his own and take a nap or sit and watch out the window. He sleeps in his own space and doesn't need to be in the bed with you or even in the bedroom.

We have been fostering Bandit for 5 months and he has been a great dog. It didn't take long and he was relaxed, comfortable and confident. He has never had any accidents in the house, never chewed anything and doesn't display any type of separation anxiety. However, he does have a high prey drive (keeping your yard critter-free from groundhogs, opposums, squirrels, etc) so he is not recommended for a home with cats. He is very smart and has learned to nudge the door handle when he wants out. He doesn't even bark unless he's super excited about seeing another dog or person! He still has some puppy energy so he would do well with someone who has the time and willingness to work with him. He's a great dog with a lot of love and happiness to offer. He has been neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines. He is now ready to find the perfect, forever home.

Gypsy and Gemma are retired breeding moms that have spent most of their lives in a kennel. They are both Pomeranians, available for adoption through Ruff House Animal Rescue.
Gypsy - Black and White - 6 years old. Good with cats, dogs, kids, Everyone! A fun spunky personality! A little on the larger size for her breed.

Gemma - Red and White - 9 years old. Shy and reserved. Needs a VERY patient owner to give her time to warm up. Would do best in a quiet home. Ok with dogs, cats, and kids - although she would prefer not to live with them! Shes very dainty and petite but She is also a spunky gal once she comes out of her shell (Check out those dance moves!!)
Both are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained, well behaved little girls. They are MOSTLY house broken and neither of them are big barkers.
