I would like to thank everyone for their kind messages and your continued patronage and friendships as I have not been very visible lately. With the family medical we then rounded the corner to extreme heat. The baked goods are of poor quality once they get outside for any length of time. I will be taking orders and setting up delivery times and spots as soon as the temps begin to ease up😊.

My entire tomato harvest so far is the little pear tomatoes🤔! I have no idea if I will get more when it cools down. I am grateful for the Farmers Market!! This salsa smells amazing and was liked by everyone in my family so I'm very pleased. So happy to be canning something this year!

I apologize for my long absence! I will be back at market and my pop up soon. We have tried to visit family and encountered health concerns so my baking times and market times have not been attainable. A huge thank you to everyone who supports me and I look forward to seeing you soon.

I was not happy as this was definitely not the prettiest pie out there but folks......it had to be one of the tastiest!! Strawberry rhubarb and it hit all the right senses! Have a happy and safe July 4 and I will see you again the week of July 10th😊🎇🎆

I am letting everyone know I will be at Orschelns parking lot Tuesday, June 20, (tomorrow) from 5:30-7pm. Some of my baked goods will be; whole wheat and light rye bread, fudge,lemon bars, lemon drop cookies, caramel filled German chocolate cupcakes, and apple hand pies.

Due to unforseen car repair I will not be in Independence Tuesday. Sorry for the inconvenience. See you next week.

It was way to hot to be baking today. I was in the kitchen long enough to get this salad bar ready for dinner. Everyone can make it how they like. It's a win win situation.

Here is a look at a few goodies I will have available tonight at Orschelns parking lot in Independence KS from 5:30pm-7pm.

This meal took a bit to get on the table but it was worth it! I made everything I could from scratch and farmers market supplied so many goodies for me to use. I made homemade BBQ sauce for the spare ribs that were supplied by Top Meats, cheesy potatoes made with organic potatoes in homemade white sauce including Monterey Jack cheese topped with Colby, watermelon that was fantastic but not local🙁, biscuit from scratch with home canned sandhill plum jelly from farmers market in Fredonia KS and/or honey from Triple Bee, coleslaw with cabbage from Rivendale Farms in Neodesha KS, and strawberry/gooseberry pie from Fredonia Farmers' Market market and Studebaker Acres!! So many worked very hard so I could bring this meal to my family!!

I grew up eating bierocks but as a child we called them runzas. I will always have a taste for these with a little butter tucked inside before the first bite😋!
