St Ignatius Church - Ignacio

Holy Week at St. Ignatius was filled with so many beautiful moments. We thank everyone that joined us for the Penitential Walk from St. Bartholomew, Bayfield to St. Ignatius. Special thanks to the Bayfield and So. Ute Police Departments for ensuring our safety. It was greatly appreciated. Our Easter Triduum was a beautiful celebration. Congratulations to our newly baptized members. We had to say goodbye to Fr. Joseph on Easter Sunday. We thank him for taking care of us and we wish him the best with his new assignment. There will be NO weekday Mass, Adoration or Confession this week and next week. Weekend Mass schedule remains the same. Our Easter Season continues until Pentecost so please join us.

Join us next Saturday, 3/28 for our Annual Pilgrimage Walk. For those needing a ride to Bayfield, we will begin transporting at 7:15 a.m. from St. Ignatius. If you can't walk the full distance, join us for a portion of it. See poster for details.

Ash Wednesday Mass Schedule: St. Ignatius Church 7:30 a.m. & 5:30 p.m., St. Bartholomew in Bayfield, 12:00 p.m.

St. Ignatius wishes all of you a very Merry Christmas! If you would like to join us for Mass, our schedule is as follows: Christmas Eve Mass is at 7:00 p.m. and Christmas Day Mass is at 10:00 a.m.

Today is Gaudette Sunday, which is the Third Sunday of Advent. The message for today is to Rejoice! And what a joy the youth brought to our parish. Reagan Zink did a solo performance on her cello which was followed by the annual Christmas Nativity play. Special thanks to our little star...Ezekiel. He along with all of the other kids did awesome! Thank you! Remember the Reason for the Season...is Jesus.
