It’s that time of year when wasps are looking for a place to hibernate.

If you are in the woods at the time they’re swarming, you could likely see them by the thousands.

It’s a seasonal occurrence.

Insecticide will work, but only for a very short time. It tends to work better when wasps are actively present. Properties should be vacated for as much as 4 hours after application of insecticide for active wasps inside.

Your properties should be sealed thoroughly to prevent the swarming wasps from getting inside. The wasps that do get in will be active inside as it gets colder and the heater is turned on inside.

This process can last from 1-2 days to a couple weeks, depending on the weather and condition of the property. It can sometimes flare up again later in the season.

After all measures have been taken, you will still see them during the active times and this natural process of seeking shelter from the weather will take place.

I have said for a long while that I love this small community that we live in.
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Dwight since childhood, so his being recognized is no surprise.
But, recently my family and my business has benefited directly from his generosity, and the generosity of many more people like him.

The fleet has grown since 1996. We started with family, and no customers.
Since then we have been blessed to work in this community. I wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else. The people of our little county are the most generous I’ve seen anywhere. This past year I’ve benefited from that first hand.
We’re finished with tornado damage repair, and everything is going great.
