The "feed fairy" came today! I just want to give a Shout out to my local feed store, Hill Country Feed. They not only give me a cash discount for writing a check, they are helpful, and provide great customer service. They are located 25 minutes from our ranch, and they offer delivery for $30.00. Joseph unloads and stacks all our feed, tubs, and hay. I thank them, my old ass BACK thanks them. Its worth every penny of that thirty bucks I spend every two weeks. Plus, I support a local feed store, there aren't that many around these days.

It didn't seem like much of a Beaver Moon tonight. Not that great if you ask me. We still got the last pasture mowed before dark

I can't wait to get my hands on training this brat. I usually wait till weaning, but just the fact this heifer doesn't want to be touched, makes it a challenge. They all love me sooner or later. This is Amber, our last calf born in July from Ruby and Picard. Her conformation is SO good. I think she may even be a keeper. She's curious, and WANTS to like me...lol
