We know that progress doesn’t happen because of one person. It happens when people come together, share what they know, support one another, and keep working toward a future with more options, more time, and more hope.

Wishing our entire community a safe and peaceful Labor Day weekend. 💙🐝

Joshua Ellis was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Philadelphia Positive, at the age of 31.
At MD Anderson, he participated in a clinical trial of TKI ponatinib and blinatumomab. In the first two weeks he saw positive results!

Josh spent six months living in Houston to be near MDA for weekly visits, while also working remotely.

In just 6 months, he was able to go home to Ft Worth because his Leukemia was fully eradicated!

July 21, 2026 will be his 3rd year of being leukemia free.

"My son is my miracle.
He is in the top 10 of those who were treated with the tki ponatinib and blinatumomab trial who has made such a positive recovery.” - said Josh’s mom, Theresa Mullins.

This May, during National Military Appreciation Month, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our active-duty service members, veterans, and military families. 🇺🇸
Behind every uniform is a story of service, strength, and resilience.

Cancer impacts far too many in the military community. Studies from the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Division have shown that cancer incidence among U.S. military members is approximately 20% higher than in the general U.S. population.

We recognize not only those who serve our country, but also those fighting battles no one can see.

To all who have served and sacrificed:
Thank you.
We see you. We honor you. ❤️

(This WSJ article is for subscribers only, so we have summarized the article here for you)

The article highlights a new wave of experimental drugs targeting KRAS mutations, one of the most common and historically hard-to-treat drivers of lung cancer.

Key Findings
*Two investigational drugs—zoldonrasib and elisrasib—are showing strong early results in clinical trials
-About 50–60% of patients experienced tumor shrinkage
-Some patients maintained disease control for close to a year
-The drugs may work even in:
-Patients who have already received other treatments
-Cases where cancer has spread to the brain

🧬 Why KRAS Matters
KRAS mutations occur in roughly 1 in 4 lung adenocarcinoma cases
For decades, KRAS was considered “undruggable”
New drugs are changing that narrative and opening new treatment pathways.

Larger studies are needed before full FDA approval
Researchers are also exploring combination therapies to improve results further
Bottom Line:
This article signals a major shift in lung cancer treatment. A once “untreatable” mutation is now actively targetable. More patients may soon have personalized treatment options and the pipeline for lung cancer therapies is growing.
