A ‘bellwether’ election: Tarrant’s Texas Senate runoff draws national attention 01/22/2026

TAYLOR REHMATE's opponent fueled my flame to run for County Commissioner, 3 in 2024

I watched her stand at Commissioners Court and spread vile, flat-out lies about https://girlsinctarrant.org/—a long-standing, widely respected organization that empowers young women through education, leadership, and strength.
She falsely claimed they were
“teaching young girls to mutilate their genitals.”
That was a lie. Period!!

This isn’t an isolated incident. She has a documented history of hateful, bigoted rhetoric toward anyone who doesn’t share her beliefs.

With the help of Tim O’Hare (before becoming the County Judge), she helped launch Southlake Families PAC—later rebranded as Patriot Mobile PAC. Yes, that PAC: the one that poured money into local school board takeovers in Southlake, Grapevine-Colleyville, Keller, and Mansfield. The same political machine aligned with my former opponent, whose campaign focused more on pushing the Ten Commandments into public schools than respecting students of other faiths.

Bottom line:
Tarrant County—and Texas—does not need another divisive political shill actively undermining public education.

What we do need is a unifier in SD9—someone with deep roots in the Tarrant County Central Labor Council AFL-CIO, Texas AFL-CIO, someone who shows up for working families, and someone who believes public schools should serve all kids.

Enough division. Time to choose community over chaos.

Tarrant County decides to close rental assistance agency, partner with outside organizations 08/05/2025

EXCERPT: "Under the new plan, the county would provide $2 million to an outside organization to do the same work, Giese said. The county will convene an advisory board, appointed by commissioners, to pick the organization, which is scheduled to be approved October 7".

Who wants to bet that the "outside organization" and board appointed advisory members will have ties to our sitting Judge and Commissioners; no different than Tim Davis who is solidly connected to O'Hare and who was also appointed to the JPS Board. 🧐
