First Acres Homestead

Recovering from a storm but we’re here 😅 we are working on getting our book re-printed for y’all. Our info book is quite the sopping mess, but most of our labels are still pretty good! We restocked our farm fresh eggs, as well as have honey, jams, elderberry syrup and vinegar, muscle rub, and more.

Sadly, our dehydrated sourdough starter did not make it 😢 but available upon request I do have regular sourdough starter.

We made it all the way out to Indiana ! We’ll be setup at FMX Paradise this weekend! We also have our stand in Huron, Ohio with much more at home base :) jams, honey, elderberry, natural products. Go kick butt little man !

These twelve little guys got a new crib with fresh bedding, bigger feeder and waterer, and best of all the have some peace knowing my toddlers aren’t banging on their house 👀 they look happy in the bigger tote in the garage, and I’m happy they’re off my floor 😆

Fresh chickens for our flock producing good eggs all year long. We were lucky to have eggs up until about January this past winter. Praying these little chickies have many egg laying days ahead of them 💚🫶🏼

We do have some fresh eggs out on the stand today! Sorry I could not get the rest of the stand out this morning. My toddler decided to have a meltdown this morning regarding his toothbrush 👀😅 we will get the rest out this evening/tomorrow morning. Hopefully I’ll get to debut some new stuff 🙌🏼

So many have asked and so we can finally say “YES!” We officially have HONEY y’all! Thank you so much to Finding Family Farm for supplying us with such delicious honey. We have honey, lavender honey, elderflower honey, hibiscus honey, jalapeño honey, and vanilla honey 😍 I’m obsessed. I can’t wait to get some fresh sourdough bread on the stand!

If someone bought vanilla over the past week at our stand (or knows the person who did) I am trying to get in touch with them 🙂 any tag or message would be helpful 🙂 thank you!

Since we’re talking about vanilla, we’ve had a few questions regarding the labels. They are labeled either single fold or double fold. This means either the correct ratio of vanilla beans to vodka, or double the beans with to same amount of vodka 🙂 So, double fold has twice the vanilla beans per amount of vodka as the single fold does. Both taste amazing. But you get a little more bang for your buck with the double fold in my opinion.

Starting small this year. But don’t you worry we have BIG plans over the next few weeks. Bare with us as we experience some growing pains, for the stand as well as our family. We have plans for HONEY coming soon (update hopefully this week), as well as some new mixes and elderberry syrups coming soon.
