That is what publisher Hailee Sage wants the community to realize.

What started as a conversation with her sister-in-law, quickly turned into something much bigger for Hailee Sage, the publisher behind Sandusky Bay City Lifestyle. After years working in management and external marketing, she realized her passion wasn’t just business, it was the act of connecting people, highlighting local stories, and creating something meaningful within the community. Inspired by her sister-in-law’s success with City Lifestyle publications in California, she brought that same vision home to Erie and Ottawa County with the goal of highlighting the people, businesses, and stories that make this area special. 🤍

Each month, Sandusky Bay City Lifestyle reaches thousands of homes and businesses throughout the community, but for her, the magazine is about much more than print. From attending local networking events to collaborating with chambers and small businesses, she believes strong communities are built through relationships and shared success, together. She described connection as one of the most important parts of both business and life, explaining that when people support one another, entire communities grow stronger together. 💪

Going further than highlighting the local businesses, Hailee hopes the magazine encourages people to explore everything that is happening right in their own backyard, from restaurants and shops to community events and local stories. As someone raising a family in the area herself, she loves being part of a community where people feel connected, supported, and proud to call home. Her vision for the future of Sandusky Bay City Lifestyle is simple, yet effective. She hopes to create something people enjoy reading, while continuing to bring the community closer together.
