This position is responsible for ensuring the company’s quality standard for all product & service quality issues. Responsibilities include inspections of Label Aid products, communication to team members, managers, customers, suppliers, and other outside services.
Quality Control:
Approve in-process production (inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards, conducting visual checks of color, part numbers)
Approve all finished production before shipping.
Assist with RMA returns, deposition, and any possible corrective action required for minimizing future RMAs.
Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation.
Help write quality procedures.
Proposing improvements to the production process
Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product
Inventory
Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stocks
Establishes and maintains backup source for high demand items
Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of recurring delivery
Conducts monthly audits of physical inventory
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to....
Special projects and other duties may be assigned as needed.
Perform routine maintenance, on schedule and according to procedure
Perform order Q.C. checks according to company’s Quality checklist to ensure accuracy
Provide regular feedback on ways to improve processes
Maintain a very organized, clean, and safe work environment
Sweep, mop, empty trash cans, clean work surfaces and perform any applicable maintenance duties to keep the production area suitable for customer tours
QUALIFICATIONS:
Good troubleshooting skills
Experience maintaining equipment
Machine aptitude is a plus
Printing Experience a plus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic understanding of Word, Excel, E-mail programs
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lift up to 50 pounds without aid
The Digital Print & Finishing Operator is responsible for placing printed rolls of labels onto the finishing press. The printed material may require additional processes such as: lamination, varnish, foil stamping and/or embossing. The operator completes the order by loading a die to cut the required label size and shape.
Responsibilities:
Setting up and operating magnetic die cutting equipment
Accurately following instructions on job tickets
Entering ticket detail into company production system
Applying ink, lamination, foil stamp, and/or emboss to finished products, as indicated on job ticket
Inspecting jobs and flagging (or remove as applicable) all defects
Checking job for quality from start to completion
Reviewing all proofs and final product samples produced
Lifting up to 40lbs
Regular preventative maintenance of equipment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Experience in graphic design/ print production preferred but not required
Basic math, computer and proof-reading skills
Attention to detail
Ability to problem solve and communicate clearly with production and office team
Work well independently
Willing to cross train on various equip
Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per day.

The Rewind/Editing Technician is responsible for placing large printed and die cut rolls onto the editing equipment and winding them into smaller rolls for packaging and shipping. In this process the operator inspects the labels for print quality as they go through the machine. If a defect is found the operator removes it and splices the roll back together. Each roll is wound according to customer job ticket which includes required wind direction and quantity of labels per roll.
Responsibilities:
Setting machine count according to instructions on job ticket
Ensuring accuracy in required wind position
Editing any defects out of the printed roll
Packaging rolls in boxes for shipments
Lifting up to 50lbs.
Occasional tow motor driving; training will be provided
Maintaining clean and organized work area & warehouse
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Works well in fast paced environment
Good math and proof-reading skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to problem solve and communicate clearly with production manager
Work well independently & with team members
Willing to cross train on various equip
Good communication skills
