RCRC promotes the sport of rowing in the North Alabama community by providing equipment and programs for a sport that engages the mind and body in low-impact exercise that builds flexibility, muscular strength, and promotes cardio-vascular health.

This past month, it was our pleasure to host a visit from Hope United Academy. They had just finished Boys in the Boat and were amazed at how large an 8+ is IRL. They took a tour, erged and then did dockside rowing! Thank you Coach Kathy, Peggy and Betsey for your expert help, and thank you to the students for letting us share the sport that we love.
Hope United Academy is a microschool for bright students who learn differently.
