HotBox is still closed, sorry y'all. However, the LAMB IS BACK! For the time being, it will be our Thursday special at The Brewer's Cooperative at City Harbor in Guntersville. I've been running the kitchen here for 3 months and we definitely have some items you'd love at a great location. I hope to see you soon.

Since closing the truck I have taken up residence at Ale's Kitchen inside of Straight To Ale at Campus 805. This week we'll be serving the Lamb Tacos as a special beginning Thursday Night and running through the weekend. I miss you all and hope you get the chance to swing by.

Hello Friends,

I don't know a good way to do this other than diving right in; this is the final week of service for HotBoxHSV. I am deeply grateful for the support you have given over the last 2 years. Thus, I'm not going to give you the stock farewell address.
From the start, I set out to offer the quality that I would want at a price I would pay. In retrospect and comparison, it would have served me better to have made my truck prettier, portions smaller, and/or prices larger. The result is that I have worked harder and longer than any other point in my life only to see my personal situation deteriorate into increasing poverty, stress, and ultimately the beginnings of despair. It has been rewarding and devastating in nearly equal turns.
All that being stated, I truly loved the opportunity to meet and feed you all, to make new friends, to learn, to be my own boss, to revel in the madness that has been the foodtruck industry blossoming in Huntsville, and to work with some truly stellar individuals. From the fullness of my heart, you have my sincere thanks for everything you've done to help me along my way.

For those who've been missing us this week; I've had a gnarly head and chest cold the last several days. It feels like I'm through the worst of it and I hope to return to our regular schedule soon. If not tomorrow, then next week; at which time we'll be running our mustard bbq pulled pork. My apologies to those who've been inconvenienced and disspointingly hungry. We'll be back on as soon as it is safe.

Tonight join us for our Monthly Brewgrass Jam at Straight to Ale Leeman Ferry! We'll also have the World Series Game 7 on the big screen in the taproom (with sound) and on the big screen in the brewery (with no sound) so no one has to miss any of this historic game! HotBox HSV will be on site for dinner and we'll have 10 taps flowing (and remember, Leeman Ferry is THE ONLY PLACE you can get Rocket City Red!)
