Roads Marked!
We're almost ready. Are You?
The roads are marked and the weather looks great [so far]. We had a successful couple of days marking and checking our updated Century route for the All-You-Can-Eat Century Ride this Saturday, September 20.
This year we are again featuring some outstanding Mennonite baked goods (Cookies!), fried fruit pies, as well as a new event jersey and a unique piece of AYCE swag. We'll again have a delicious smoked chicken and pork barbecue lunch after the ride, courtesy of Ted's Barbecue. Sign up this week! The weather is starting to turn nice for the fall. Better yet, Madison County, AL and Lincoln, County, TN have been kindly paving large portions of the route. Many miles of fresh asphalt on the upper century loop and the return to Huntsville. We're getting the fried pies, Mennonite cookies, tomato sandwiches and barbecue all lined up for ride day. The weather has changed and it's almost Fall! Time to Ride!
The Spring City Cycling Club has hosted an annual century for a long time. The rest stops have some great snacks and Ted's BBQ is served after the ride.
The century and super- metric offer a great challenge on some hilly, no-traffic roads in Tennessee.
The metric is a lot easier.
Come find out for yourself!
Don't miss this great ride, Sept 20, that raises money for some worthy cycling causes: Huntsville Urban Bike Share (HUBS) Co-op, the Alabama Bicycle Coalition, the SCCC Community grant program, and several local H.S. Mtn Bike teams.
