Start your Fourth of July with a BANG at the Freedom 5k and Independence Mile! 🇺🇸 This fun, family-friendly race is the perfect way to kick off Independence Day before the BBQs, parades, and fireworks!

Post race burgers provided by Drake's Huntsville, face painting for the kiddos and much more!

Freedom 5K The Freedom 5K is on Saturday July 4, 2026. It includes the following events: Freedom 5K, The Independence Mile - Only, and The Freedom 5K and Independence Mile.

Grab a pool floatie from the store this weekend, if you don't have one!
Then join us Monday night!
6PM at RunningLane
We'll run 1 mile with the floaties then have a spot to drop them off before you complete your miles.
All paces welcome!

Packet pick up is Friday 12-5 at RunningLane (2407 Memorial Pkwy SW Huntsville, AL 35801)
Packets can also be picked up at the race location Saturday morning from 6-6:45 but you will have to park farther away the later you get there!
