Delicate Dots
Welcome to Delicate Dots! I wanted to create a space where I could share my art with others.
Lately the algorithm has been showing me a lot of videos of Hawaii. Think I may be missing the islands lately. So today I wanted to share this lovely sea turtle with you all!
A small wooden pebble painting for today. Love the colors on this one. Working on editing videos and almost done with a new canvas tutorial!
Available art on DelicateDots.com
It’s been forever since I painted a mug! I have a few coffee tumblers left that I never painted. It may be time to bring those to the painting table.
How many dots are on my stones? As most questions it’s a hard one to answer. Every stone will have a different number of dots. It depends on how small I keep the dots and how close together I keep them as well. This one the dots remain small and are close together so it definitely has more than most of the ones I paint in this style.
Available artwork is on my website DelicateDots
I am in love with this plumpy heart! I recorded the entire process of this one! I decided to turn it into the newest tutorial on my lowest tier on my Patreon. Currently working on a a canvas tutorial for my upper tier as well.
Huge week for my family! My husband is retiring from the military! So proud of him and everything he has done for our country. Looking forward to the next chapter of our life.
Not all projects go as planned. In the end I just wasn’t happy with this one.
Playing around with different design ideas. I love these little magnets as a way to play around with different design ideas and to use up paint from previous projects. I have a couple of these available on my site DelicateDots. Also I posted the full music version of creating this piece to YouTube.
Absolutely fell in love with this blue mandala stone!
Currently I am working on voiceovers for new tutorials for a heart stone and a canvas!
I have some original art pieces available on my site DelicateDots.
Fixing a mistake. I spend a lot of time fixing mistakes in my art. With certain patterns especially this sacred geometry pattern precision makes all of the difference in the finished piece. A mistake left unfixed early on in the pattern only makes each row after it more and more off until the pattern is completely lost. It can be a lot of extra work to fix these things but in the end it’s totally worth it.
Mixing a sunset color palette for some fun dot art mandala paintings!
