GO watch this now, I don't care what you are doing stop, and watch this. If you care about the future of wakeboarding watch this! Let's face it Wakeboarding as a whole is in a slump. Wake surfing is taking over the lakes. What Bryan Miller and Justin Ward are doing at what I've dubbed "the Miller Factory" is nothing short of amazing. Justin has taken his love of wakeboarding and passed it down to his son Kane Ward and he has taken it to a level no one thought possible at an early age. Bryan has taken Zac's love of the sport and supported him any way possible and has fallen in love with the sport too. That love of the sport and their sons has brought a new found passion for wakeboarding and they are spreading that passion worldwide. The two have worked together to bring hi level coaching to Smith Lake via Tony Iacconi and Ti Wake Academy and have sought out young talent at events and travels and brought them into the fold. This allows the riders to learn and feed off each other and keeps the stoke alive. Just look at Nations and Worlds this year. Count how many kids on the podium have stopped in at the Miller Factory. Count the National and World championships that have come from here. After 20 plus years of putting my heart and soul into this sport I'm glad to "pass the a handle" to guys like this that have the same love and passion I do. They are taking the sport to new heights for the younger generation. This is the future of wakeboarding and the future is BRIGHT!!!

It is with a sad heart that I have to write that the Spring2Summer is at this point no more. Due to the state of the world at the moment there is no possible way to keep moving forward. We tried but there are just too many obstacles to overcome. From high gas prices, to sponsor issues to the overall state of wakeboarding there is just no way of holding a tournament like this. We are sorry for letting our riders down and thank them for all the support you have given us over the past 15 years. Please join us at FlipSide on May 13-15 for Mountain Wake games. Jeremy and the staff are still doing what they can to keep contests alive in Alabama so let's go out and support them 100%. WakeFactory will still be around and we will still be involved with the sport as much as can. Relook forward to seeing you all out on the water this season.
