Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Lincoln County, TN until 3:30 p.m.
** WHNT News 19 WEATHER ALERT ** The US National Weather Service Huntsville Alabama has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING until 3:30pm. A severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles west of Fayetteville, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

Parts of the area have been upgraded to a 'Slight' (level 2/5) Severe Weather Outlook. Heavy rain and frequent lightning ongoing in Mississippi, tracking towards the state. Stay weather aware!!

⛈️ SPC has the majority of our area in a 'Marginal' risk (level 1/5) due the threat of strong to possibly severe storms this afternoon and evening. Strong gusty winds (potentially damaging), heavy rain (which could lead to flooding), hail, and lightning could accompany the strongest of storms.
⏰ This particular weather model shows a line of showers and storms pushing into Northwest AL around 1 p.m., and exiting Northeast AL around 6 p.m. Stay weather aware today as timing could fluctuate some.
A few lingering showers/storms will be possible tonight before drier, more comfortable air arrives on Monday. (We're talking upper 70s and low 80s for highs!)
