High temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 90s, but it could feel like 100 to 105 degrees at times. We'll also have a slight chance for pop up showers or storms throughout the weekend with a strong storm possible during the afternoon & evening hours.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Morgan, Marshall, & Cullman counties until 3 p.m.

The North Alabama Airfest is this weekend! Don't forget the rain gear when heading out the door today. It won't be a washout, but expect scattered showers and thunderstorms. While severe weather is not anticipated, an isolated strong storm can't be ruled out.
We can't escape the heat, unfortunately. Temperatures will warm into the upper 80s and low 90s this weekend, but it'll feel more like the mid 90s Saturday and upper 90s Sunday! High heat & humidity will stick with us through next week as well.

🌡 The Heat Advisory will continue until 8 p.m. this evening. Temperatures will soar into the mid to upper 90s today and will feel more like 105°+ for some. Continue to practice heat safety!

⛈ The Weather Authority will be monitoring the chance of seeing some stronger storms this afternoon and evening. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the majority of the area under a 'Marginal' risk (level 1/5) for today. It'll be isolated in coverage, but the strongest storms could produce gusty winds, heavy downpours, and frequent lightning.
