SweatLocal
We coach normals how to be #FeelBetterStronger We're known for the challenge as well as the support. Anyone can "break" you but not everyone can BUILD you.
Our trainers, our schedule, our programming, and our support is about meeting you where you are TODAY and coaching you through the process of where you want to be. We all have a different starting point and that's not something that intimidates us. We don't expect anyone to be anything but themselves from day 1. It's our job to coach form as well as make everything ACCESSIBLE. This place is not about exclusivity. We are about INCLUSIVITY! Bring YOU here and we've got the rest covered!

I get it, you’re not “done” but don’t forget…
As far as you still want to go, you’re already standing where someone else wishes they could be.
Members, this is your month … Invite her to stand beside you.
Book your bestie 🥰

Who believed in you before you believed in yourself?
As a high school teacher, I often had to nudge capable students into my advanced level classes because they couldn’t yet see what I could see in them.
I’ve been on the other side of that, too.
This place wouldn’t exist without my husband literally DRAGGING me through my fears. My coach matter of factly states next steps I’ve not yet even thought could be in my realm of possibilities.
Sometimes, it’s someone else’s belief that gives us the courage to believe in ourselves.
So think about it:
Who planted a seed in you? And who might need you to plant one in them?
This has been on my mind a good so I went old school and blogged. (🔗 in the profile)
In retrospect, this is the spirit I want for Book Your Bestie 2026.
Truth be told I know our members rarely need a work out partner per say but I do know many of y’all were so scared to walk into our doors because …
“I’m not strong enough.”
“I’m too old to be new at something.”
“I’m gonna look like an idiot”
But a bestie said, you got this and I’ll be there the whole time. I gotchu.
And that small nudge ended being a catalyst for transformation.
You’re stronger, healthier, and feeling more alive because someone else carried the belief before you were ready.
Pay it forward 😘🖤
Hands on. Brains on. All eyes on deck.
Twenty years ago my personal journey began just like thiis except I couldn’t have told you the difference between a deadlift and a squat because I’d never been to a gym before.
Who knew that trying to “not look frumpy and soft” at my 10 yr high school reunion would be the catalyst! 🙃
All that to say books, online courses, podcasts, video, AI are all rad and useful tools but absolutely nothing trumps the human touch particularly when there’s passion and knowledge.
Javi Fraga Holli FBF Performance Center (Florida) a gigantic thank you for this experience. I’m coming away both a better athlete and coach. I’ll be back!
P.S. 15/10 would recommend to all.

“Gross, I don’t want to look like you.” My response…⬇️⬇️
Don’t worry. You never will. 🎤
The idea that having visible muscle, obvious definition, and lots of vascularity was an accident that happened because I walked into the gym 3-4 days a week w a loosely constructed “arm day/leg day” plan and a roughly 80/20 diet is laughable.
If you don’t want to look like me, you’re in luck! Because this was a 365 day all in effort in the gym and in the kitchen for YEARS.
Hon, if this is gross to you, I’m okay with that too. The only person that has to love this body is me.
But if you’re not lifting weights out of fear that you don’t have a say so as to how jacked you get, girl you’re completely wrong…
AND this likely why you’re missing out on results you’re hunting down by “losing 10 more lbs” again. 🙄
The women we coach at sweat, they aren’t looking to replicate what I’m doing.
They love muscle. They love how it makes them feel. They know they’re strong and resilient and they want their physique to say that too.
They love adventures and they love knowing they can say YES to every opportunity bc their bodies are capable.
If that’s you PLEASE stop approaching training fearful of “accidental muscle mass” 😂😂
Every woman who’s ever transformed on any level will tell you the work and effort behind every new line they willed into existence.
Lift. Challenge yourself in the gym. Have fun creating exactly what YOU want to see. sweatlocal is here to educate and guide YOUR journey 😘
None of i
Mondays a trigger. That’s why you don’t miss it.
Book class. Show up. Pull the trigger. 😘
full body pull day 🥳
Instead of heavier… what if you moved better?
Three things I’m watching every time someone deadlifts:
1️⃣ Your feet.
Are your toes curling or gripping for dear life? See if you can keep your feet softly planted and let them create a stable foundation.
2️⃣ Your hips.
Are your hips actually moving back, or are you just shifting your weight into your heels? One loads your glutes. The other just creates tension where you don’t want it.
3️⃣ Your breath.
Are you holding your breath, pushing your belly out, and wondering why your low back feels tight? Your breath is part of alignment not an afterthought.
Most don’t need a new workout. They need better movement.
Reworking mechanics and relearning movement patterns is often the missing link for people who train consistently but still aren’t seeing the results they want or who seem to collect aches and pains along the way.
You’re lifting the weight.
You’re checking off the workout.
Maybe you’re even lifting heavier.
But if your movement isn’t improving, your body eventually lets you know.
Over the past two years, I’ve fallen back in love with the deadlift not because I’ve been chasing PR’s, but because I’ve been chasing better coaching and more professional development. This has changed the way I move and the way I coach.
The best coaches never stop being students.
If you’re tired of guessing, getting hurt or spinning your wheels come train and learn with us. We’ll teach you how to move not just read out a workout.

Instead of food guilt: “Tell the food where to go.”
* One celebration doesn’t undo months of 80/20 lifestyle.
* You don’t need to earn your food.
* You don’t need a detox.
* You don’t need extra cardio.
You simply need to get baseline back to your 80/20 - lifting, moving, eating protein, and following your normal routine.
And unless you’re nursing a wicked hangover, all those extra calories should make for a super fun week of strength training with plenty of energy in those muscles for extra reps, pumps, plates.
No guilt.
No punishment.
Just return to home base.
Love you. 😘
Bragging on our humans …
Meal prep is an organizational skill set - not a dieting technique.
I think it’s absolutely rad that our crew is taking the chill of the summer to improve their skills now so that when the rush of back to school hits they’re ready.
Week 3 is in the books. They’ve already gotten their week 4 homework as well.
“Am I doing it right?”
“Is this what I’m supposed to be feeling?”
“How many sets or reps should I do today? Next week?”
“Can I sub this movement for that?”
That’s our job.
Your job is to show up.
No wandering the gym wondering what to do next.
No piecing together workouts from Instagram.
No guessing whether your form is helping or hurting your progress.
At SweatLocal, every workout is programmed for you, every movement is coached, and every question gets answered.
You focus on the work.
We’ll handle the plan.
