JB Marshall Jr. still looks back fondly on the summer that he rebuilt over 200 bicycles at his grandfather's’ shop, and that’s where the heart of Resurrected Rides Project comes from. He started Resurrected Rides est. 2019, but he and his family have been in the Bicycle Business for over 90 years. His grandfather James E. Marshall started Jimmy’s Lock and Cycle in the 1930s in Dallas, Tx. He later started Marshall’s M & W with his son JB Marshall Sr. in the 1950s in Carrollton, Tx. From there JB Marshall Jr. spent many years repairing bikes in the family business from the late 1960s and through the 1970s. Although he did not follow into the family business, he always had a great love of fixing and riding bicycles. After a successful business career restoring companies in seventeen different industries, it has been a long-time desire of his to return to restoring bikes and donate them once he retired. Well, he decided to start a little early as he hasn’t quite retired just yet! These bicycle's have been restored and donated to honor a long running family tradition.
