We are proud to recognize MCVA student Zach for representing Madison County Virtual Academy at Alabama Boys State!

When asked about his experience, Zach shared:

“Boys State was a great week to learn more about how our State and local government works. It was also a week of preparing to step into a future as leaders of our state. Alabama Boys State gave me new friendships, ideas, and avenues for how to be more involved in my community, plus the scholarship opportunities to execute on those plans. I am grateful for my time at Boys State and look forward to how I can apply those lessons during my senior year and beyond.”

We are proud to recognize MCVA student Allie for her participation in Alabama Girls State!

When asked about her experience, Allie shared:

“Girl’s State is such a great learning opportunity to learn more about politicians and how the government works! Girls State also teaches and prepares you for your future.

Alabama Girls State meant so much to me! It gave me lifelong friendships, and endless memories! Girls State also taught me so much about how privileged we are to live in such an amazing country we call home!”

The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived! Our amazing seniors are ready to walk and receive their well-deserved diplomas!! 🎓 The MCVA graduation ceremony is taking place tomorrow at 11:30am at the beautiful VBC (Von Braun Center) and we can't wait to celebrate this incredible milestone with our graduates and their families! 🎉
