The GTEC team had a fantastic time at the Armed Forces Celebration Community Softball Game at Toyota Field! From cheering on the players to connecting with community and local leaders, it was an evening full of fun, hotdogs, and hometown pride.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that comes together to celebrate the people that make our region stronger. Thanks for a great night, Huntsville, we’re already looking forward to next year!

Despite a rainy week, there was a small break in the weather to check on some construction projects at Alabama A&M University. Two new buildings and drainage improvement projects are underway. We are proud to have engineering interns from A&M and UAH with us for the summer.

Our Annual Food Fest was a great reminder of what makes GTEC special: our people and our community!

Held at Big Spring Park, this year’s event brought our team and clients together for a beautiful day of great food, fun games, and even better company. Food Fest is one of our favorite traditions because it’s all about showing appreciation for the people who help us grow every year!

Earlier this week our staff had the opportunity to tour the Vulcan Materials Quarry in Huntsville. We learned valuable insights about the quarry operations and history of the company. Vulcan Materials Company is the nation's largest producer of construction aggregates and serves as an important part of infrastructure and construction.

Decatur's Pryor Field Airport Authority - Pryor Flight Center continuing to grow adding a $32.7M Aleut Real Estate / Strata-G military maintenance facility. The hangar should be completed in 2027 bringing more aviation jobs to the field - with Fite Building Company

The University of Alabama in Huntsville projects underway include a 400m 8-lane 500-seat Track and Field complex and the 80,000sqft Raymond B Jones Engineering building where classes are scheduled to begin Spring 2027. GTEC is proud to employ UAH engineers and interns.

Alabama A&M University Open House last weekend was a huge success showcasing the new event center and continued progress on new campus buildings.
