Islanders 2-2 so far this pre-season under new head coach, beating NJ tonight.

I was at Islanders Pride night last February, and they had the Trans flag and the Rainbow flag as part of the color guard on the ice during the National Anthem. It was awesome! Centerman Casey Cizikas also made a statement about inclusivity for Newsday that was really moving and well-said.

PURPOSE: This page for for Trans Masculine individuals to connect about their interest in sports, to play sports and/or join teams together, and to support eachother in our athletic/recreational goals.

Hey everyone! Enjoying this amazing weather I hope! Who likes playing sports at the beach? Want to hang out with other trans men, make friends, do activities, and enjoy this summer?!

The purpose of this page is to bring trans men together and do sporting activities on Long Island. I'm going to suggest a "Trans on the Sands/ Tag-Football" day... who's down? Weekends at Jones Beach workable for you?

I'm open to all suggestions. Times, places, and the activities that you are interested in. Also: if you want to help me re-name the group... what do you guys think? I have a quirky sense of humor because the TransAction Community League acronym will be TACL (pronounced like "tackle" as in football... get it...??? okay LOL). :P

I almost didn't realize that Sunday is Father's Day! (Don't forget!). So, let's plan our first meet up for the following Saturday: June 27th! Who can make it to Jones Beach on this day? Let's say Field #2 at 1pm? I'm bringing a football! Can't wait!! I have a season pass; if you would like to car pool with me, send me a message.We can look into other locations for the next meet up, based on your feedback!
